Another shield found its way into the new trophy cabinet on Friday.
The club entered the mixed Millennium Knock-Out Shield with possibly the strongest Ladies line-up for several years. They played the Group final against Bude at neutral ground Camelford, an event followed closely by the B Team at their curry-night celebration through the online ‘Live Scores’ feature on our website. Initial gloom as Wadebridge fell behind was replaced by delight as the team surged through to take the game, and the trophy, 54-29, and go through to the County finals in September.
