Wadebridge Bowling Club officially opened the new season on Saturday, 15th April. At least 25 members turned out, many wearing the new club shirts – same colours but more dynamic styling.
The day was blessed with sunny weather. Let's hope that augurs well for the season ahead.
As is customary, the first bowl was delivered by the mayor, Councillor Ian Welch. Cllr Welch's wife, Gilly Welch, also attended, having been roped in (as a camera club member) to take the photographs. They reported back "we had a lovely couple of hours on Saturday afternoon." Our thanks to them.
