The Men's A and B teams started their league programme last week with contrasting 4-1 away wins over Dunheved.

The B Team were first in action in the new 18 end league format and as the match neared its conclusion, one Wadebridge rink was well down and the other two ahead. A magnificent 3 shots scored on the last end gave Wadebridge the match win by one shot.

The A Team match two days later seemed to be going poorly, with one rink going 4-21 down after 11 ends, whilst the other two held leads of 8 and 2 shots at the same point. But then all three Wadebridge rinks began a succession of winning ends, finishing 18-25, 20-9 and 21-11 for a comfortable match win by 14 shots.
