Yesterday saw the first league match of the season for the club, in the Ladies Rippon league - an inevitable win for Wadebridge.
Now that we have so many enthusiastic and proficient ladies, we have two teams in each league, and of course the opening match was Wadebridge A (green) against Wadebridge B (yellow).
In glorious sunshine and a howling gale our little woods often seemed to fly randomly over the green but there was some excellent play in good spirits, with Wadebridge B coming out on top 27-12.
